5 øre 1st printing in pair on parcel card sent to Barkskibet "Ceres" in Jakobshavn. The receiver had departed from Jakobshavn and the parcel was returned to Copenhagen with notation "Afrejst / Returneres" with signature "Olsen" and a new GREENLANDIC LEDGER NO "47" was noted in blue. On the reverse has the sender's signed for the returned parcel. Since nearly all parcel cards FROM Greenland have been destroyed, this parcel card is one of the few known that demonstrated the treatment of parcels from Greenland. Certs Wowern and Møller. |
